Star Wars is a badman film, no doubt about it. Just check Giggs’ hat in the video for “Man Don’t Care” and you’ll see that grime and Star Wars go, somewhat surprisingly, hand in hand.

Last year the film franchise giant linked with puffer coat extraordinaires, Uniqlo, to celebrate the release of The Force Awakens at the shop’s Regent Street branch. This time round, the two have paired up again to honour the upcoming release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The celebrations were at the store’s flagship Oxford Street store and the night was a full on spectacle for press and fans alike. Those present were given the opportunity to buy the new collection, pose for a pic with a Stormtrooper and even stick their head in a virtual reality helmet.

The night was topped off by performance by Lewisham boy, Novelist, who took over the stairway connecting the third and fourth for an energetic yet intimate set that we’ve come to expect from the 19 year old.

Uniqlo have a longstanding connection with grime, naming Skepta as a ‘cultural ambassador’ back in March.
