With a month to go until the festivities kick off, we are excited to announce that Stormzy, Ghetts and The Square will be performing alongside headliners Skepta and JME at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton on May 16th.

This is the first time in the festivals 10 year history that Grime artists will headline the biggest stage at the Brighton Dome, a pretty big nod to how important these musical pioneers are to the world right now.

The must see performance will be a monumental kick start for the UK festival season. Skepta is currently leading Grime onto a global platform alongside his brother JME, the founding pillar of the notorious Boy Better Know Collective. With Skepta’s fourth studio album ‘Konnichiwa’ soon to drop, and Jme’s forthcoming album, ‘Integrity’, set for release on May 4th it wouldn’t be reaching to say we can expect to see some potentially new material.

Awarded ‘Best Grime Act’ at the 2014 MOBO Awards, 21 year old Stormzy will also set the stage alight, side by side with the legendary MC Ghetts and newcomers The Square (including Novelist).

Returning to Brighton this May 14th -16th, Europe’s biggest festival for new music will take over 30+ venues across the city, bringing 18,000 music lovers with it. With over 400 of the best up and coming artists now on the line-up, The Great Escape will once again give festival-goers an unrivalled opportunity to explore an international circuit of future sounds.

Tickets for Skepta, JME, Stormzy, Ghetts and The Square at The Brighton Dome on May 16th are going FAST, attend the historic show by buying tickets here.
