Stormzy’s infamous stab proof vest from his Glastonbury set has popped up in a new store being run by Banksy.
The store appeared overnight (30 September) and also displays a Tony the Tiger rug, as well as a cradle being surrounded by CCTV cameras.
The elusive artist that is Banksy announced the opening of the store on Instagram.
“This show room is for display purposes only”, he wrote. “I’m opening a shop today […] (although the doors don’t actually open). […] It’s in Croydon. […] Probably best viewed at night.”
The shop is set to be open for the next two weeks, with Banksy selling some of its stock online.
Following Stormzy’s powerful headline set at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, Banksy revealed himself as the designer behind the south London rapper’s outfit at the event.
Stormy responded to the revelation by writing on Twitter: “Absolutely f**king speechless.”
