East London singer-songwriter Summer Banton has dropped all new visuals for her first single of the year, “Don’t Make Me Feel”.
Marking her first release of the year, Summer’s return offers an evolved version of the sound we all know her for developed from her 90’/00’s R&B-inspired origins. Revealing her sensitive side, she she takes control of the matter at hand whilst remaining candid.
The accompanying visuals, directed by Reece Selvadorai, follow Summer and her love interest, offering several playful scenes along the way going hand in hand with the track.
Speaking on the video Summer said: “”Don’t Make Me Feel” is all about a no strings attached type of situationship. It describes the desire of wanting to build trust and get more comfortable with somebody before falling for them completely, which isn’t always easy! The song wrote itself so easily over the R&B beat and it’s guaranteed to get you in your feelings.”
