Rising talent Tamera has blessed us with the video for her single, “Wickedest”.
Fusing R&B and afrobeats, Kent-raised Tamera creates a sensual tone on “Wickedest” by laying down her light vocals on the smooth production courtesy of P2J. Directed by Claire Arnold, the visuals are dimly-lit and show Tamera in a few different stylistic shots.
“Wickedest” is about embracing my sexual energy as a female,” Tamera said of the song. “Finding strength in being able to love and be intimate with who you please and feeling liberated in doing so.
“It’s a flirtatious conversation with someone I like and lust. Almost teasing them because I know when it goes down I will not disappoint but also making it clear that I demand the same time and work in return.”
“Wickedest” serves as Tamera’s first release of the year, coming after a successful 2020 for the singer who dropped her breakout single “Flipside” last summer.
