Peckham-born Tara Lily has given the visual treatment to her brand-new single “The Things You Do”.
Taken from her forthcoming debut EP Lost In London, “The Things You Do” fuses R&B and jazz and sees the young singer laying down her bold vocals on a Saxophone-tinged production, courtesy of Hannah V. The visuals are dominated by a classic theme and capture Tara reflecting by herself in an empty cinema.
“It’s very raw and very real; the lyrical content of most of my songs are deep,” Tars said. “I talk about things that a lot of people don’t want to talk about, and that’s why it feels like dark R&B jazz; the dark comes from those difficult but important feelings that are expressed.”
While we wait for Tara’s EP to drop at some stage this year, take in “The Things You Do” in the video above!
