Tekashi 6ix 9ine has not been too far away from the spotlight since his prison release in early April as we have seen him interacting with fans online, and taking a light and humoured approach towards the legal situation that he found himself in.

Since his release we have heard rumours and whispers about an official comeback but nothing concrete has come to light until now.

Following the suspicion of new material, Tekashi has shared news that he is hosting an Instagram Live session this Friday (the 8th of May), 3pm EST.

It is very likely that fans can expect new music from the artist on the same day and that the live stream is part of a promo strategy for any new material, although we don’t know how much new music that he will be dropping just yet.

6ix9ine revealed news about his IG Live session on his Instagram page earlier today with a photo stating the details, alongside the caption: “Let’s get this part started. Don’t get scared now.”

Whatever Tekashi 6ix9ine has planned for the live stream, it’s bound to attract a lot of attention.
