After announcing the project just a few days ago, Toronto megastar The Weekend has released his fifth studio album titled Dawn FM.

Clocking in at just under an hour in length, this LP is a lengthy one from The Weeknd who provides us with more of his retro-sounding sonics throughout much of the album.

Dawn FM houses The Weeknd’s 2021 hit “Take My Breath”, as well as contributions from Lil Wayne, Tyler, The Creator, Quincy Jones, Jim Carrey, Oneohtrix Point Never, Swedish House Mafia, Max Martin, Calvin Harris, and Uncut Gems co-director Josh Safdie.

The arrival of Dawn FM comes days after The Weeknd shared a screenshot of a text exchange with his creative director La Mar Taylor.

“Everything feels chaotic again,” The Weeknd wrote in a text. “Music can heal and that feels more important than another album rollout. Let’s just drop the whole thing and enjoy it with the people.”
