With the summer due to end as fast as it arrived, use it as a lesson to not wait on the hottest trainer drops. We’ve rounded up some of the hardest trainers being released this month.

6th August – Jordan 1 High OG Satin Snake

Be ready to catch some envious stares if you manage to cop these. The Jordan 1 High OG Satin Snake is the latest colourway for the ladies. The brand-new edition mirrors the colourway of one of the most in-demand AJ1’s ever – the OG Chicago’s. All the iconic details stay present on the shoe but instead of the classic leather uppers, this version features satin and faux-snakeskin panels to texture the pair.

8th August – Jordan 3 Japanese Denim

First seen in 1988, the Fire Red Air Jordan 3 debuted never seen before elephant print overlays and for this edition it’s back again! The white leather upper and Air unit remain just as they were on the OG model but this time the elephant print finds itself on denim. The iconic heel tab also received a rework, with a translucent rubber displaying both Nike Air and Jumpman branding – a feature any Jordan fanatic will be drooling over.

12th August – Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Black White

We’re sure everyone remembers what happened last time a Sacai x Nike collaboration hit the shelves. This time we have the VaporWaffle which was first unveiled at Paris Fashion Week earlier in the year. The shoe borrows elements from the Pegasus Vaporfly and the Pegasus VaporWaffle while showing off dual branding of a double Swoosh and double tongue tag, similar to the LDV Waffle Daybreak we all know and love. These aren’t one to miss.

13th August – Jordan 1 High OG Japan Neutral Grey

Delayed from its original drop, this Jordan 1
receives a futuristic revamp to the vintage basketball model, retaining the classic design while being dressed in metallic silver. The uppers are crafted from high-quality leather throughout, with iconic features such as the wings logo, perforated toe box and Nike Swoosh on both the lateral and medial sides making an appearance. Nike Air branding is present at the tongue while the panels are stitched together neatly. This is truly an ‘out of this world’ release.

15th August – Union x Air Jordan 4 Off Noir

Union Los Angeles are back with another addition to their Nike partnership, serving as a sequel to their Jordan 1 release back in 2018. This time the collaboration is in the shape of a Jordan 4, adopting a similar colour scheme to their AJ1. The Off Noir edition dons a black upper with blue and red overlays. The yellow ‘UN/LA’ tag on the mesh sidewall has seen a return while the off-white sole offers a vintage aesthetic. The second colourway Guava Ice will be exclusive to Union.

15th August – Jordan 5 Alternate Bel-Air

Calling all Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fans, this ones for you! Crafted from a neat blend of supple suede and mesh, the Jordan 5 shows off the same vibrant and funky aesthetic s
een throughout the iconic TV show in accents of blue, purple and yellow to break up the design. Classic AJ5 features such as the lace locks and mesh panels down each side are present as ever for a retro feel, while MJ’s signature number 23 is embroidered neatly onto the lateral heel.

More trainers may be announced for a later August release but for now, check back in next month for your hottest September Top Tier Trainers.
