The Official Charts has revealed the biggest songs and albums of 2021 and the lists includes some big names from the world of UK rap!
The Official Charts revealed the top 40 biggest tracks of last year today (January 4), revealing that Russ and Tion Wayne’s record-breaking hit “Body” was the tenth biggest single of 2021. Another rap duo to make the cut is A1 x J1 whose debut single, “Latest Trends”, comes in at Number 26.
Taking the top spot is Ed Sheeran whose comeback single “Bad Habits” shifted chart sales in excess of 1.7 million in 2021 – comprising 204 million streams and 142,000 sales.
As well as unveiling the biggest tracks, the Official Charts also announced the biggest albums of 2021 which confirms Dave’s sophomore LP We’re All Alone In This Together was the UK’s tenth biggest album of last year.
Adele came in at Number 1 with her fourth LP, 30.
Both lists are based on sales of CDs, downloads, vinyl and weighted audio streams.
