A woman was over the moon after passing her driving test after a whopping 960 attempts.
Not only did the woman – named Cha Sa-soon – demonstrate great tenacity and determination in continuing to try to pass, but she also had to show deep pockets, racking up a huge total figure of fees in the process.
The South Korean resident spent an insane equivalent of £11,000 on the failed practicals, as well as also partaking in a separate 860 goes at the written theory test.
Her instructor at Jeonbuk Driving School said, “When she finally got her licence, we all went out cheering and hugged her, giving her flowers.
“It felt like a huge burden falling off our backs. We hadn’t had the guts to tell her to quit because she kept showing up.”
Sa-soon initially made headlines nearly 15 years ago in South Korea, but the story has received renewed interest because of a viral post on reddit recently.
