Yungen has emerged again with Vevo to present a stripped back performance of his single “Longevity”.

The video, which is shot in what seems to be a derelict space, perfectly matches Yungens narrative here, as he takes on a far more conscious, reflective approach, with pensive words delivered over a mellow, hazy beat; comprised of minimal instrumentation.

A style in which we have not seem from Yungen too much in recent history, he uses the Vevo UK LIFT platform to offer his reflection of 2017, and within it speaks upon an assortment of social and economic topics. As the visuals guide us smoothly around the filmed settings, Yungen talks about using his financial position and how he has used it to sincerely support his mother and his loved ones, however he also documents the struggles he has faced with some friends along the way. We also learn about his choice of ride, a black BMW i8 and how he looks to focus greatly on the music in his dispersion of positivity as he sets to commence on the New Year.

The single, which Yungen also uses to showcase his writing abilities, through his use of schemes and tricky wordplay, also reassures fans that he has not forgotten his Play Dirty foundations.
