Presenter and personality Zeze Millz and Capital Xtra radio DJ Yinka Bokinni are set to host a one-off show for Channel 4’s Black To Front project.
Titled Unapologetic, the show will be a late-night topical discussion programme that will allow Zeze, Yinka and their special guests to talk freely about everything, bringing new perspectives to current debates and topics.
Subjects discussed include Black Lives Matter, racism, colourism and social media news, with the two hosts sitting down with guests from the political sphere and popular culture.
The show will be produced by SBTV and Cardiff Productions and is part of Channel 4’s Black To Front Project where a number of shows on the channel will be fronted by Black talent in a bid to “kickstart fresh push for greater on and off screen representation”.
Speaking on Unapologetic, SBTV’s founder Jamal Edwards said: “This opportunity represents the chance to hear the diversity in opinion around issues affecting all of us in a fresh way. It’s time to shake things up and bring new views to the mainstream.
“I believe Unapologetic will represent the viewpoints of my generation in a provocative and entertaining style.”
Unapologetic will air Friday 10th September on Channel 4.
