Just days after announcing he would be working on Pop Smoke’s posthumous album, 50 Cent has now given more details regarding the project’s release date.

Taking to Instagram to post a photo of him and Pop Smoke with scarves on their faces, 50 Cent wrote in the caption: “set for release in May”.

Set for release in May, Pop Smoke’s album will feature work the rapper had recorded before his tragic passing last month.

The announcement of the release date for Pop Smoke’s posthumous album comes days after 50 Cent revealed he would be an executive producer for the LP.

Before he passed away last month, Pop Smoke had publicly expressed his admiration for 50 Cent in interviews. The Brooklyn rapper had also recorded a cover of Fiddy’s classic hit, “Many Men”, which was praised by 50 last week.

Although an exact date in May has not yet been announced, 50 Cent is already working hard on the album and has called on the likes of Roddy Ricch and Post Malone to make appearances on the tape.
