To keep us eager for the release of her forthcoming debut album, Greentea Peng has shared a new single titled “Kali V2” with visuals to match.
Titled after the Hindu goddess Kali Ma, this track from Greentea Peng is a thought-provoking one which the south Londoner uses to express her frustrations and observations of the current state of the world with her captivating vocals.
We hear Greentea Peng sing “I’m ready to make a new sound/Can’t contribute to the lies In this fickle paradise” which clearly sets out her aim to shake things up. The ABOVEGROUND-directed visuals are dimly lit and slow-paced and add to the intensity of the record.
“Kali V2” is due to feature on Greentea Peng’s first ever album, MAN MADE, which has now been given a June 4 release date.
