The highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) could be released in 2024, according to a new leak.
In a 111-page document sent to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) regarding their acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Microsoft revealed that it believes GTA 6 will be coming out in 2024.
When arguing that Activision’s market share isn’t significant enough to hurt competition, Microsoft referred to Rockstar and GTA 6 as one of the upcoming hits in the gaming world.
“The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released in 2024,” Microsoft’s response reads.
When referring to the potential GTA 6 release date, Microsoft cites a TechRadar (which cites a report from Bloomberg) as the reason for its belief.

Rockstar Games are yet to confirm an official release date for the game.
News of the potential release date for GTA 6 comes after it was rumoured that the game will feature the franchise’s first playable female protagonist.
