The GTA 6 rumour mill is swirling again. As gamers desperately await the release of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6, a new rumour has made its way onto the internet.

A so-called well-known GTA insider and leaker has said that Niko Bellic from GTA IV will return as well as GTA V’s Michael De Santa.

The leaker said, “Most likely it’s in the form of a GTA Online DLC, but it’s also very possible he could be producing a movie in Vice City. It could be both. We’ll have to wait and see.”

In addition, leaks also suggest that the game will star two protagonists, a brother and sister duo, who are on opposite sides of the law. Set in Cuba, Vice City and Carcer City, the rumour says that the game will be set in the present day.

The leak has gone viral but Rockstar has not addressed the rumours.

Back in February, they said, “Many of you have been asking about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. With every new project, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we’ve previously delivered. We’re pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the series is underway.

“We look forward to sharing more as soon as we are ready, so please stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire for official details. On behalf of our entire team, we thank you all for your support and cannot wait to step into the future with you!”
