DONDA, the forthcoming tenth studio album from Kanye West has been given a new release date according to industry insider Justin Laboy.

Kanye West promised fans that DONDA would arrive on Friday 23rd of July and even held a listening party for the project in Atlanta at a venue with the capacity to fit over 70,000 people.

Friday came and the album did not, leaving fans wondering about when the project would arrive.

Now Justin Laboy has told Kanye West fans on Twitter that the music legend has pushed back the project.

Justin wrote, “Kanye West will move the release date of DONDA to August 6th. Thanks for your patience he wants to give his fans the best possible product without rushing anything. He loves yall with all of his heart. God bless.”

The popular insider and influencer had previously revealed information about the release of DONDA including some live coverage from the listening party.

Jay-Z and 2 Chainz are expected to be among several collaborations on the project.

The album is expected to explore Kanye’s recent divorce from Reality TV star and beauty mogul Kim Kardashian. The two share four children together.

DONDA will follow up the release of Jesus is King which won a Grammy Award for its contemporary Gospel music and its fusion with modern-day hip-hop.

“Follow God” and “Closed On Sunday” were released as singles.
