We’ve been waiting for the project for a little while now but Kanye West has finally confirmed the release date for his upcoming album, Jesus Is King.
Taking to Twitter for the first time since January 1st to announce the release date, Yeezy tweeted: “ “JESUS IS KING” […] OCT 25TH.”
Due to drop this Friday (October 25), Jesus Is King will be released alongside Kanye West’s IMAX film of the same name, which will reportedly bring “Kanye West’s famed Sunday Service to life in the Roden Crater”.
The album was originally set to be released on September 27th, after Kim Kardashian teased the tracklist and title of the LP on Instagram back in August.
Judging by the title and names of the song, the LP is likely to be inspired by Kanye’s popular Sunday Service.
While we wait for Jesus Is King to drop this Friday, watch the trailer for Kanye’s IMAX film here.
