Comedian Kojo Anim earned himself a golden buzzer from Simon Cowell during his Britain’s Got Talent audition.
The golden buzzer can be pressed once by each judge during the auditions stage and the buzzer guarantees the act a place in the live semi-finals. Each judge is only allowed to press the buzzer once in a series.
Kojo wowed the judges with his observational stand up comedy and kept the audience laughing and engaged with his jokes on customer service, black taxis, money and his multicultural experience as a child with African parents growing up in Britain. Many will recognise Kojo from his extensive work in the UK comedy scene.
The crowd response moved Kojo to tears and the comedian was embraced by Simon after the announcement that he had made it to the semi-finals.
