Murkage Dave is back with another teaser for his upcoming album int he form of “I Had A Nice Time But I Won’t Be Back”.
Connecting with Mysterious Beanie who provides a melodic hook, Murkage Dave creates a song around one night stands on this song, while also reflecting on his young days.
“It’s a song about a one night stand, but i wanted to be real about it rather than brag or romanticise,” Dave said of the track. “There’s definitely a subtext for how i feel about nostalgia too. Just enjoy the good memories rather than wish you could go back, because you can’t and even if you could it would never feel the same.”
The track is set to appear on Murkage Dave’s sophomore album, The City Needs A Hero, alongside singles such as “World I Want To Live In”, “Us Lot”, “Awful Things”, “Please Don’t Move To London It’s A Trap”.
Take in “I Had A Nice Time But I Won’t Be Back” while we wait for Dave’s album to drop on May 27th.
