Sony unveils a new venture in the form of Playstation Productions.
Ever wanted to watch a Crash Bandicoot movie? Well it’s probably still unlikely but Sony have set up a new subdivision Playstation Productions to convert popular PS games into feature films.
It is also possible they will provide TV programmes based on PS games as well, although which games will be made into movies remains unclear.
Another subdivision, Sony Pictures, will likely play a role in distributing these movies, with Sony preferring to control the future of its own game adaptations rather than licensing out its intellectual property.
